What if Max Verstappen was NEVER in Formula 1?

Akin to a child prodigy, he came into the sport like a wrecking ball, upsetting the apple cart, and setting new youth records, before bringing in a new era of dominance. Something of a teammate destroyer, he has dispatched of his rivals with ruthless efficiency and full commitment. He’s also a down-to-earth, no-nonsense character who lives and breathes racing and has completely revitalised interest in Formula 1 in the Netherlands and begotten the return of the Dutch Grand Prix. Four Championships; 63 wins, 10 of them consecutively; more than 3,000 career points; and with him monopolising the sharp end of the grid, it’s hard to imagine modern Formula 1 without him, which is exactly what I’m about to do. Today, I’m going to reimagine a world of no Orange Army, no revitalised Dutch Grand Prix, no “simply lovely”, no Super Max!, and no Jos Verstappen overstaying his welcome in the paddock. There are countless different ways this scenario could go, and you get to see some questionable photoshop skills from myself, but even so, here is my interpretation of how Formula 1 would have looked since 2015 if there was no Max Verstappen.
