I would say the most interesting part of the tune can be found in the variation of the melody. It's a simple tune with a simple chord progression, so it starts off that way. By the third pass there are some noticeable substitutions happening and the melody sounds similar but with a broader color palette. Most of the movement is happening during the turnarounds, sometimes a chord per beat. Most of which is based iii-VI-ii-V-I and the alterations continue to change from there.
