This job requires special strength training: Marc Schlobach is the transport manager at the Hübner piano store in Trier. Together with his colleagues, he transports and carries pianos weighing up to 500 kilograms. It's a real backbreaker. Marc Schlobach never imagined he'd be doing the job for 20 years: "Then, after just two years, I had a herniated disc in my lower back, which required surgery. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to continue. But that taught me a lesson. Since then, we pay close attention to our posture. We train specifically for this job, focusing on our core, glutes, and abs. We train everything to ensure stability. We immediately whistle at each other if someone is carrying slouching." This training is especially important for large-scale operations, such as the relocation of a music school in Luxembourg. There, the men have to move 13 pianos and five grand pianos to their new location, pushing themselves to their physical limits.
