In 1973 Judy Skutch and Dr. Jerry Jampolsky met in an airport. Their relationship became the basis for the first consistent use of A Course in Miracles to try to heal a relationship. Judy, now 88, and Jerry, now blind at 95, share with you their challenging path from Specialness to Holiness with the help of the Scribes Helen and Bill and the Holy Spirit. Biographical background: Dr. Gerald Jampolsky was born in 1925 in Long Beach, California. He attended UC Berkeley for his undergraduate degree and served in the Naval Air Force during the 2nd World War. After finishing his MD in Psychiatry at Stanford Medical School, Jerry had a private practice that specialized in the treatment of children. In 1975 he received the manuscript of A Course in Miracles and began applying it to his life. The same year he founded The Center for Attitudinal Healing which now exists in 37 countries on 6 continents. He is the author of 16 books featuring the principles of A Course in Miracles. Judy Skutch Whitson is Founder and Chairwoman of The Foundation for Inner Peace. She was serving on the Faculty of New York University when she was introduced to Drs. Helen Schucman and William Thetford, co-scribes of A Course in Miracles. They entrusted her with its manuscript and the role of publisher of the Course.
