After starting his career on Chilean television and becoming popular as part of "El Club de la Comedia," he became one of the most important figures in Latin American comedy. He is the author of one-man shows such as "Live from Caupolicán," "From The Future," and "Solo Pienso en Mí" (I Only Think of Myself), the first Netflix original special by a South American comedian. Fabrizio also hosted the award-winning "El Late de Copano" and "La Culpa es de Colón" (It's Columbus's Fault) for Comedy Central. In addition, he wrote, directed, and starred in "Prueba de Actitud" (Attitude Test), one of the highest-grossing Chilean comedies of all time. After moving to the United States, he has appeared on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and "The Talk," was selected as one of the "New Faces" at the Just for Laughs festival, and was part of CBS's "Comics to Watch" showcase. He is currently touring with his new interactive show, "Escápate," where he combines stand-up comedy with improvisation and 90s action movies. In our conversation, we talked about the comedy scene in Chile, Fabrizio's relationship with his brother Nicolás, and how they managed to create successful television shows on low budgets. We also discussed the differences between the scenes in New York and Los Angeles, his favorite clubs in the city, the importance of social media in a comedian's career, and the reasons behind the end of "El Late de Copano."
