Silent Hiking the Alice Toxaway Loop - Sawtooth Wilderness
Beautiful hike into and back out of Alice Lake via the Toxaway Loop in the Sawtooth Wilderness in Idaho. This clockwise route, as it is often referred to, was actually not that hard, probably because of all the skiing I did this winter season (63 days at 63, unless you live a sea level...then maybe it's not so easy.) Stunning views, rock scrambles, an icy climb over the pass, a couple hairy moments, plenty of water crossings, amazing sunrises and sunsets, let's not forget the hail, and another wonderful trip checked off the bucket list is now done.
