Psicanálise e Neurose Obsessiva: Os Obsessivos, hoje

Free lecture with psychoanalyst Dr. Alexandre Simões. Obsessive neurosis has established itself as a particularly distinct clinical category within Freud's work. In this sense, we can recognize it as a mode of subjectivation that effectively manifests itself as an effect of the transference field and the implications of the unconscious. And together with Lacan, we must always question the relationship of Psychoanalysis to our time; how, therefore, can we understand Obsessive Neurosis in our present day? It is not only a matter of outlining its characteristics and symptomatic manifestations but, above all, the clinical management, by the psychoanalyst, of this subjective positioning.
