I Never Drank Whiskey Till I Met You

Well, this is a day late to be a Sunday morning video, but I didn't want to rush it out into the world before it was ready, so here it is! This is a demo of a new song I recorded and mixed in my studio this weekend. Toni was on the road playing shows, so I had her record her guitar part from afar and email it to me, so that's why we have a ghost-Toni playing a lovely, rich lead part in this one. What's going on with the two vocal shots? I wanted to create an authentic delay sound, so I doubled the vocal part and put the original vocal (the one where I'm singing and playing the rhythm guitar) back further in the mix and added the isolated vocal over top, creating that echo-y sound that you could just get from a plugin, but I think it sounds fuller when it's not simulated. Hope to get back to the studio and do another proper album soon. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this demo!
