Cycling in Europe - Lake Constance and beyond

In the Summer of 2024, my friend Simone and I took our bikes on the ferry from Dover to Calais and started our adventure cycling in Europe for 2 weeks. We first started from Basel, cycling to Lake Constance between Switzerland, Germany and Austria, and then from the lake to Strasbourg. We cycled 500 miles in 11 days, and did some sightseeing in 3. I got my Wahoo lost/stolen on the way to Paris, Simone had a puncture in the Black Forest, we both got scratches from shrubs, some saddle sore, and were devoured by mosquitoes. But we also cycled along the Rhyne and the Danube (the latter, totally by accident!), and of course around Lake Constance, had great breaks in Basel and Strasbourg, conquered some hills (and walked others), ate beautiful food, and absolutely loved the scenery around us and our bikes.
