Ne Me Quitte Pas | Jacques Brel (Iris Noëlle Cover)

Bonjour mes amis! This week's cover is a song in a language I've never sung on YouTube before, but one of the languages I love most: it's a song in French! Ne Me Quitte Pas by Jacques Brel is one of my all-time favorite French songs. I remember listening to this song in my parents' car when I was just a little girl. I fell in love with it and also with France. That's why I've studied French language during university and I even studied in Paris for some months :) As you may notice, this video is quite different than our other covers. This time I got help from my friends Yora and Willemijn! Yora played the piano (wonderfully as always) and we really like making music together. It's the first time you'll see her on my channel, but definitely not the last! :) Willemijn did our hair & make-up, which made us feel like real artists, haha. We've filmed at Het Oude Magazijn in Amersfoort (The Netherlands). Nina made this wonderful video. We usually film one-take covers, so this was a different experience for both of us.
