Pixel Gun's Most CONTROVERSIAL Update

In this video we'll take a look at one of the most loved updates in Pixel Gun 3D history. Released in July 2020, the 18.0 version introduced major changes aimed at fixing many of the community's biggest complaints, including pay to win progression, poor rewards, and outdated matchmaking. We'll explore the reworked chest system, Trophy Road progression, pre-game lobbies, AI bots, rotating maps and modes, the Game Developer Battle Pass, and the Game Developer Lottery. We'll also look at the introduction of Pixel Gun Office and the return of classic maps like Science Lab and Inside the Code. For the first time in years, many players felt like the developers were actually listening. Free to play players could earn rewards more easily, progression felt meaningful, and the game seemed to be moving in a better direction.
