Happy World Water Day! 💧
For drought-stricken communities like Konyek, access to clean water can change everything. It means more than just hydration, it transforms community health, opens doors for education, ignites agricultural growth, empowers women, and can ultimately break the cycle of poverty. In June 2023, The Samburu Project drilled a solar powered borehole in Konyek village; it was our 149th water point in the Samburu region. Thanks to the support of local partners Davis & Shirtliff, Sasaab Lodge, and Air Kenya this community now has a sustainable access to clean water. Join us today for World Water Day, in creating ripples of change for more women and children in Samburu- as all donations are matched by our board!
