Hello. This is Mrs. Harin. I visited the sword bean and bitter melon fields after the rain. The sword beans have finally started to bloom with white flowers, and as the bitter melon vines grew rapidly, I helped to move them up onto the support netting. Since they received the rain, the leaves have become even fresher, and the entire field is filled with lush green. Bitter melons have also started to appear one by one; if things continue this way, I expect to be able to harvest the first crop in about a week. I will continue to record and show you the growth of the sword beans and the process of the first bitter melon harvest.
