Double tonguing is an important skill to have in your arsenal as a trombonist. There are many different syllables that can be used to create the sound of double tonguing. In this video, I focus on using the syllables Da-Ga-Da-Ga-Da. I demonstrate several exercises both on and off the trombone, ranging from verbally saying the syllables, to practicing scales and arpeggios using double tonguing as the articulation technique.
