Britannia & Co. 101 Year Old History of Parsi Restaurant in Mumbai | Most Iconic Irani Cafe 🇮🇷 🇮🇳 🇬🇧 The Berry Pulav recipe of Britannia & Co. was started by Mrs Pervin Kohinoor. In the video it’s mentioned as Fardin kindly ignore the typo error. Hey Folks, Today I visited Britannia & Co. Parsi Restaurant in Mumbai, a very beautiful and energetic city, Britannia is a Persian restaurant with 101 years history.  I tried some of their star dishes which are as below: ⭐️ PALLONJI RASPBERRY SODA ⭐️ PALLONJI ICE CREAM SODA ⭐️ CHICKEN FARCHA ⭐️ CHICKEN SALI WITH WHITE BREAD AND CHAPATI ⭐️ CHICKEN BERRY PULAV Unfortunately I couldn't meet Late Mr. Boman Rashid Kohinoor because he passed away in the year 2019 at the age of 97. The iconic eatery was set up in 1923 by Mr. Rashid Kohinoor, whose family fled from Iran to avoid religious persecution and settled in Mumbai the year Boman Kohinoor was born. Mr. Boman took charge of the restaurant at a young age after his father died in an accident.  For several years, Boman was the genial face of the restaurant. He was often seen chatting with visitors, recommending what should they order, sharing anecdotes and cracking jokes. The restaurant has a very homely, old, and cool atmosphere with lots of customers. They serve both Indian and Iranian dishes here. We tried the Iranian Zereshk Pulav a.k.a Chicken Berry Pulav it was very delicious. The mix with the masala was also astonishing; the Iranian and Indian mix turned out very cool. The next dish was Chicken Sali which was actually Chicken gravy that I tried with Chapati & White Bread. It exceptionally had sweet, tangy and mild flavours. Then we tried their Chicken Farcha with Potato Straws and Boiled Egg on top, which had a lacy texture and it was very soft and had mild flavours it was truly mouth-watering and excellent. Before serving the food, we also had their Pallonji raspberry soda and ice cream soda which had an amazing taste. The dishes I tried are must-tries if you come here because they are unique.  I hope you enjoyed watching the video and stay with us.
