At what age did you decide it was too late to chase your dreams? With this question, Carol Gattaz leads us to reflect on the impact of age on our self-esteem and career. Carol Gattaz is one of Brazil's leading volleyball middle blockers. She was first called up to the national team in 2003. Carol is a five-time World Grand Prix champion, in addition to three silver medals at the World Championships in 2006, 2010, and 2022. At 40, she became the oldest woman to win an Olympic medal for the country. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
