Kobra 3 Z Axis Fix (English)
The Anycubic Kobra 3 is an amazing 3D printer but has an elementary, but easy-to-solve design flaw: The stepper motor of the Z-axis bears the weight of the gantry, but the stepper motor is not designed for any axial load. A thrust bearing is required to relieve the stepper motor of the axial load. In this video, I show you exactly how I install a thrust bearing to support the axial load in the Kobra 3. Here are all the specifications of the thrust bearing: https://www.kugellager-express.de/min... The order in which the thrust bearings are mounted: Top rod: 5.2 mm Bearing Bottom rod: 5 mm Top motor: 5 mm Bearing Bottom motor: 5.2 mm So the outer discs of the entire construction are the 5.2 mm ones.
