What once represented the perfect fusion of authenticity and the unmistakable spirit of rally culture brought to life with confidence few games could match. But as the years rolled on, the series would find itself pulled in different directions. Reinventions, experiments, and shifting identities would slowly transform the franchise, into a shell of it's former self.
