Friends, we continue our grand journey through amazing Romania! 🇷🇴 After the magnificent Peles Castle, we head to the heart of Transylvania – to the legendary Bran Castle, known the world over as "Dracula's Castle." 🧛‍♂️ As we drive there along a picturesque, sunny road, I'll tell you the story of the Count's real-life inspiration – the cruel ruler Vlad III the Impaler (also known as Vlad the Impaler). We'll discover why his enemies feared him, how he is connected to these parts, and why Bran Castle became the abode of evil in Bram Stoker's famous novel. The most interesting part began as we were leaving the castle! 😱 In just a couple of minutes, the clear sky turned black with clouds, and a heavy rain began. Roman and I joke that Count Dracula himself decided to give us a "special send-off." ⛈️ We also noticed a surprising feature about all the houses in the area...
