FIAT ARGO 2027: ASSIM SERÁ O NOVO HATCH DA MARCA NO BRASIL!

"Hey everyone, how's it going? Today we're going to give you a sneak peek at the new 2027 Fiat Argo. The new generation of the hatchback will be the Brazilian version of the European Fiat Grand Panda, sharing its platform, body, and even its lines. In 2022, Autos Segredos had already anticipated that the new Argo would be the European Panda with minor changes. Now, we're revealing exclusive projections of what the compact hatchback, which will be produced in Betim, Minas Gerais, will look like. Visually, the new Argo will change completely. The front will be directly inspired by the European Grand Panda, but with some important differences for Brazil. The main one will be the front grille with the Fiat name centered. It maintains that design divided into three parts, with geometric elements that decrease towards the center. The headlights also follow the shape of the European Panda, but here we will have simpler versions with halogen lighting and more expensive options with full LED headlights. At the rear, the national model will also have specific changes. The Fiat name will be centered on the trunk lid, as it is today on the [Brazilian model]. The current Argo. The model name will be applied to the right side of the trunk lid. And the taillights will have LED lighting in the higher-end versions. Another important difference compared to the European Panda is on the sides. The Brazilian hatchback will not have that name stamped on the lower part of the doors. Now, one of the biggest novelties is in the platform. The new 2027 Fiat Argo will use the CMP architecture, the same one already used by Peugeot, Citroën, and Jeep models. With this, the hatchback will grow. It will be almost four meters long, becoming larger than the current Argo. The wheelbase also increases, promising more interior space. And the trunk reaches 412 liters, a very strong number for the segment. Inside, the new Argo will also change completely. The dashboard design will be inspired by the European Panda, but with a simplified finish for the Brazilian market. No soft materials: the bet will be on textured rigid plastic. Even so, Fiat should invest in interesting visual elements. Just like the European Panda, the The national model will have the famous Easter eggs hidden throughout the cabin. The instrument panel also changes considerably depending on the version. The 1.0 Firefly options will have a 3.5-inch TFT screen. The mild-hybrid Turbo versions will have a 10-inch digital panel. The multimedia system will be practically the same as that already used by Citroën, Peugeot, and also the Jeep Avenger. Depending on the version, the hatchback will have an inductive cell phone charger, connectivity, and more technological equipment. The seats should be shared with the Pulse and Fastback. The center console will be exclusive to the Brazilian Argo, mainly because all versions will retain a manual parking brake. Now, speaking of safety, the new Argo will represent a huge evolution for Fiat in Brazil. It will be the first car produced in Betim with six airbags as standard. In addition, all versions will have traction and stability control, hill start assist, and ABS brakes with EBD. The more expensive versions may also include semi-autonomous technologies such as autonomous emergency braking, assist... Lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beam switching are included. However, it will still lack adaptive cruise control (ACC). The entry-level versions continue with the familiar 1.0 Firefly naturally aspirated engine, always with a five-speed manual transmission. In the more expensive versions, the mild hybrid system with the Turbo 200 engine comes into play. The 12-volt MHEV system will work alongside the well-known 1.0 turbo from Stellantis. But there's an important change: as Autos Segredos anticipated, this engine will have reduced power. It will go from the current 130 horsepower to 116 hp. The torque of 20.4 kgfm will be maintained. This new calibration debuts first in the Jeep Avenger and then arrives in the new Argo. The transmission remains the CVT that simulates seven gears. In practice, the new Fiat Argo 2027 will be much more than a new generation. It practically inaugurates a new phase for Fiat in Brazil, bringing a global platform, more Safety, electrification, and a completely different look from the current hatchback.
