I show you how you can check a cylinder head for cracks and then resurface a cylinder head at home with an orbital sander and then finally check your work to ensure a perfect gasket sealing surface!! I resurfaced a cylinder head on my 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade 3.7L after noticing low coolant, it wasn't over heating however it did leak coolant into the #6 cylinder causing detonation and resulting in a melted trail through the cylinder head and into the water jacket causing the engine to hydro lock. Thankfully it didn't overheat or cause a warped head.
