Sonic Racing Crossworlds - 6 Legend room races of 1st-3rd placements with x2 friends (3/21/26)

Haven't played since the pacman DLC came out, so I came into the first few races of this extremely NOT fresh, but still managing to put in some effort to make a showing at the front of the pack while also trying a new gadget setup from the newest ones released. Also was playing with Alex4life and IWishIWereAFish here. Not bad races that got me from low 1500 to 1800 by the end of the night. Race 1- Surprised how long I was able to stay in 1st-4th for the majority of the race. I'm laughing at the bomb bounce I managed on first place RIGHT at the finish to win it, with a hit on a person named Cr1t1cal-M1ss. Race 2 at 3:05 - I stayed in 6th-7th for a lot of the race, but I was ensuring I took my time gathering rings to go along with my gadget build, so I didn't care about making proper race lines. Narrowly avoided that king boom boo at the end for a nice 3rd place finish. Pretty decent considering the rest of the race, eesh. Race 3 at 5:45 - I kept making a lot of mistakes here both with items and properly drifting, which eventually put me back in the back of the pack...by lap three I simply lucked out that holding that final king boost wisp and a tornado was enough to push through for 3rd. Race 4 at 8:38 - I got hit by a shuriken from 10th place on lap one and it was enough to make me fall off through a jump gap to boot, and have me play from 12th place until nearly the end of lap 2 to just to get monster trucked back in the back again lol. Then lap 3 comes and a person respawned on top of me with the truck to put me in 11th. Luckily, I popped a drill and held it for the last leg, as everyone else died around me, and I pushed to 2nd. SO close to first too lol. Race 5 at 11:35 - A bad start and eventually getting knocked off the purple race area on lap one kept me in the back at 11th and 12th for awhile. I was only 9th come start of lap 3 because of how slow progress was. I held my laser wisp for as long as I could until a drill came up on me in lap 3, forcing me to use it. I still managed to stay at the front of the pack coming down to the cut, but I have ZERO clue what hit me. I guess a bomb. Still, my triple boost wisp plus omochao allowed me to BARELY get through the cut and take 1st right on the line. Race 6 @ 14:40 - Lap 1 I took a lot of early item hits and set back to zero rings, eventually being in 8th place going into lap 2. Felt like every time I tried to make progress I'd get hit again and sent back with no rings. Thankfully, with some steady ring progress, and others dying ahead of me in lap 3, I was able to push up to the front by the end, barely losing out on a 1st place finish.
