Wachau Radmarathon: 100km Streckencheck. 4x verfahren. 1x Triathlon.

Mautern. Starting point of the Wachau Cycle Marathon. I haven't even set off yet and I've already gotten lost. That's not a bad omen. That's just me. What comes next: a 100-kilometer reconnaissance ride through one of the most beautiful regions of Austria. Castles, vineyards, the Danube. And somewhere in between, a triathlon I hadn't signed up for, but I'm participating in anyway. The plan was simple: ride the route, test my legs, know what to expect on July 12th. What I hadn't planned for: getting lost four times, a cycling ban, a creaking noise I still can't identify, and the feeling at kilometer 80 that the 200-kilometer loop in July might have been a bad idea after all.
