Actress Suzu Hirose's new commercial for "Mitsuya Cider" (Asahi Soft Drinks), "Let's Do It! KICKBOXING," was released on June 19th. Hirose, who has been kickboxing for about two years, is shown sweating in training wear and delivering punches and kicks. After finishing filming, Hirose reflected, "I've never done kickboxing all day, so it was a nice change of pace. Physically, I realized that kickboxing is really tiring." She also shared why she got into kickboxing: "Action movies. My brother loves action movies, and that influenced me to want to get stronger and be able to fight." When asked about the most memorable birthday she had to date, she revealed, "It had to be turning 20. I celebrated on the set of the morning drama in Hokkaido. Even though it was my 20th birthday, I was alone in a hotel (laughs), but it actually gave me a time to reset myself and think about many things, which made me want to work hard at my 20th year too. On set, they made a cake inspired by Hokkaido dairy farming, which made me really happy." The new commercial, "Let's do our best! KICKBOXING," will air nationwide from June 23rd.
