1957 Sears Pink Lady Kenmore YouTube

Just made this vid of recently restored 57 LK. When I bought the machine in August, it was merely an empty cabinet with no "guts" whatsoever. The timer and various components including water level control, 5 temp water selector, end of wash signal bell, sudsaver on/off switch, and warm/cold rinse selector were the only things (Thank God) that were still intact. There was no wiring. I had to make by hand a new wiring harness for it. There was no kick out switch, no water inlet valve, no sudsaver valve, no suspension rods, no trans, no pump, no motor, in other words NO NOTHING. I gathered up the parts and had it back together about a month ago. She runs beautifully as you can see and the "clunking" sound you hear in wash mode must be due to very cold rubber balls in the suspension rods. On second load, it didn't make that noise anymore. The heat from one of the dryers heated up the wash studio a bit.
