This guided meditation is designed for moments when you’re struggling to let go. When thoughts keep returning, or something feels unresolved, and the mind keeps trying to work through it, this practice offers a way to step out of that cycle. Rather than trying to force thoughts to disappear or push difficult feelings away, this meditation gently shifts your relationship to them. Through breath awareness and open observation, you’ll explore what it feels like to stop engaging with each thought, and allow it to come and go on its own. Much of the tension we experience doesn’t come from thoughts themselves, but from the effort of trying to hold them in place, or move them along. By stepping out of that effort, even briefly, the mind begins to settle naturally, without needing to control anything. This meditation may be helpful if you’re overthinking, feeling stuck, replaying situations, or struggling to let go of something that feels unresolved. You can listen sitting upright or lying down, and return to this practice whenever your mind feels caught in that loop again.
