Prince John of Orleans and Braganza shows off his imperial-era home in Paraty to Casa Brasileira. In this video, he shares a bit of the history of the mansion that belonged to his father. The facade features green and yellow details, the colors of Brazil and the Braganza and Habsburg families. Inside, rare pieces include paintings by his great-grandparents, Princess Isabella and Count D'Eu, and 18th-century chairs from the Château D'Eu in Normandy, France. The building was restored by architect Renato Tavolaro, who made changes to accommodate contemporary living while maintaining the building's original features. Did you like it?
