Iceland’s Secret Island: Visiting Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands)

Visiting Vestmannaeyjar (also know as Westman Islands) has been on my bucket list since last time we went to Iceland. There are a few unique features of the islands, one of them is the large amount of nesting sea birds that visit the island each year. It is also know to have one of the largest colonies of Puffins in the word. But the journey is half the fun so we started in Reykjavik and headed South and West to some of the waterfalls we missed on our last trip to Iceland! Also the Hybrid electric Vestmannaeyjar car ferry is quite a unique experience!
