I Found 4.77 Troy Oz of Gold in Forgotten Mine Workings | Goldbay

I went up to the Olive Grove planning to dig for an hour. One detector signal in the wall changed everything. Behind it were old underground gold workings (the exact thing I've been trying to find!) and gold-in-quartz specimens containing a total of 4.77 troy ounces of recovered gold. This video follows the entire discovery from the first signal to the final accounting. The specimens have to be cleaned, examined and carefully tested before I can understand how much gold is actually there. This time, I was able to complete the entire process by the end of the day. Final recovery: 4.77 troy ounces of gold. There are some exceptional specimens in this one, but the most important discovery may be the workings themselves. The old-timers knew where the gold was runningand now that I have finally opened this section of the hill, there may be much more waiting beyond that wall!
