This is the musical version of the song from "Dance of the Vampires" - or at least A musical version as I found lyrics that were quite different from these... (Kovu and Kiara in the short clip in the end ought to be young Scar and Sarabi, these are the times in which there was light in Scar's life. And the black sun ought to be an eclipse ;-). ) Well, I never really liked the idea of a Scar and Nala love song because it doesn't make sense at all... she hates him! But now I think I understand why people like it, it's this typical Lolita fascination: Young, beautiful girl and old, experienced man.
