Tugu Kunstring Paleis Restaurant is a heritage building located at Jalan Teuku Umar No. 1 Jakarta. It was design by a Dutch architect R.A.J Moojen and built in 1914. Originally built as a an art and cultural centred housed a world-class art gallery. In 2013, the building was reopened as Tugu Kunstring Paleis Restaurant. An iconic restaurant that still holds a Dutch architecture filled with relics of ancient world. TugunKunstring is divided into two areas, The Pangeran Diponegoro Room and The World of Suzie Wong. The former is a huge dining room with a giant painting of Pangeran Diponegoro. The World of Suzie Wong is an adjacent room inspired by the famous film about love story of Suzie Wong and an English painter.Travel to Tugu Kunstring Paleis feels like travel to another era.
