Nigerian Youth Leaders Issue 30-Day Ultimatum Over Attacks on Citizens in South Africa
The Forum of National Youth Leaders of all Political Parties in Nigeria has condemned the ongoing "Afrophobia" attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, citing a lack of adequate response from the South African government. The Forum highlighted Nigeria's historic support during the anti-apartheid struggle and warned that continued attacks on peaceful Nigerians abroad are unacceptable. Consequently, the group issued a 30-day ultimatum for all South African nationals to leave Nigeria by the end of July 2026. News Central's Onyebuchi Eze reports this development and its diplomatic implications.
