Presenting Finances to Patients in a Dental Practice AFTER Treatment Planning - Best Practices
Presenting finances to patients in a dental practice is what follows after presenting treatment to patients. Before you do this step, it’s assumed that the doctor, the hygienist, as well as the treatment coordinator have done their part in going over the importance of the recommended treatment. This video is for treatment coordinators and other front desk personnel who are responsible for presenting treatment cost and finances to patients. It's also for doctors who present their own finances. Instead of focusing on a bunch of theories, I’m going to share exactly how I present to patients in my own practice. WHO AM I: I'm Nilay, a Dentist and a software developer living in NY. I work part time in my dental practice, which I started from scratch in 2013. I've been writing of my journey in my startup practice since 2015. I've recently taken interest in creating videos because I love talking about all things dental business related. In 2021, along with my brother (who's also a software developer), we launched our own software to help dentists using Open Dental put systems into place with Automation. Teamio makes it easy for Open Dental practices to manage the day to day tasks for teams(https://teamio.app).
