4K Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle - 1st Show - Disneyland - November 2025

In 2007, Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California debuted a brand new tradition where the entirety of Sleeping Beauty Castle is decorated in thousands of lights. Every night, the castle is lit up in a spectacular known as Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle, which is performed either once or twice a night throughout the months of November-January. There are two versions of the show: Act 1: Wish, and Act 2: Dream, and you can experience both on the nights when the show has two scheduled showtimes. The show begins with a narration, followed by Kellie Coffey singing the song "Snowfall", which is a modified version of "Shine" from the former nighttime spectacular at Disney California Adventure Park called LuminAria. During the show, snow falls on Main Street U.S.A. and is accompanied with projections on the Main Street buildings, and lighting from the moving head lights on the Fantasyland rooftops behind the castle, and lighting from above Main Street U.S.A. and the surrounding areas. The two shows aren't identical - the narration is slightly different, the verse lyrics of "Snowfall" are different, and the first show is slightly shorter. The other Disney Parks around the world, starting with Disneyland Paris in 2004, and then Walt Disney World in 2007, also had similar light displays on their castles, with their own unique ways of lighting the castle as well. Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Resort did this as well but only for a short time frame between the years of 2008-2010. Currently, Disneyland Park is the only Disney Park whose castle is light up with actual physical lights. Walt Disney World abandoned the light display in 2020 and has since used projections as a replacement. Disneyland Paris stopped their display a few years ago. This video was filmed on November 27th 2025 directly in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This is the first showing, which began at 7:30pm.
