I Spent The Afternoon In The Oldest Chinatown in the World

Last July 7, 2026, I went to Binondo, Manila's Chinatown, which is considered by many as the world's oldest Chinatown. I started out in Ongpin Street, but I only covered a short but interesting part of it. It is a long street with many more things to see and experience, but, maybe, I'll explore it together with the other streets in that area on another day. I had to go to Lucky Chinatown Mall. When I got to Lucky Chinatown Mall, I took a quick stroll along Sta. Elena Street, where the 168 Mall is located, to capture the intense hustle and bustle of that commercial street. Lots of people on this street like always as it is already near the Divisoria market area where most ordinary Filipinos flock to for their shopping needs. I walked Sta. Elena Street all the way to the corner of very busy main avenue Juan Luna Street.
