Bantuan KDM Siap Direalisasikan, Bangun 20 Rumah Panggung untuk Korban Banjir Palabuhanratu

TV Spokesperson, Sukabumi - The West Java Provincial Government's assistance for victims of natural disasters along the banks of the Cipalabuhan River in Palabuhanratu Village, Sukabumi Regency, will soon be realized. A total of 20 stilt houses measuring 6 x 4 meters will be built in several areas severely affected by the flash floods that occurred in early 2025. In detail, 18 units will be built in Neighborhood Association (RW) 8, two units in Neighborhood Association (RW) 2, and one unit in Neighborhood Association (RW) 22. Before construction began, a sounding team from the Housing and Settlement Agency and the Public Works Agency of West Java Province, along with the Head of Palabuhanratu Village, conducted a site inspection on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The Head of Palabuhanratu Village, Yadi Supriadi, stated that this activity aims to ensure field conditions and land suitability, so that the construction process can proceed on target and safely for the beneficiaries. Yadi Supriadi revealed that his team had actually proposed 75 housing units for affected residents. However, the realization is still awaiting regulations and technical instructions from the West Java Provincial Government. Yadi stated that the construction cost of each stilt house unit is around one hundred million rupiah. This assistance is part of a program initiated by Dedi Mulyadi, who personally visited the disaster site early last year. This stilt house assistance is expected to provide a decent and safer temporary housing solution for flood-affected residents, as well as a tangible manifestation of the West Java Provincial Government's concern for the Palabuhanratu community.
