Camping on the quieter side of RMNP | Timber Creek Campground Tour
Thinking about camping on the quieter West Side of Rocky Mountain National Park? In this video, we tour Timber Creek Campground, the only campground on this side of the park. Situated near the Colorado River at nearly 9,000 feet, this spot offers incredible elk viewing and easy access to Trail Ridge Road, but there are strict size limits and terrible cell service you need to know about. Located in Rocky Mountain National Park at 8,947 ft, this campground offers roughly 100 reservable sites ($35/night) with potable water and dumpster service. Access is via a paved road, but there is a strict 30 ft RV length limit, and cell service is sometimes nonexistent.
