Temblor de 7.1 en Venezuela se siente en Colombia: videos son angustiantes

A strong 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck Morón, near the Venezuelan coast, and was strongly felt in several regions of Colombia on Wednesday. The United States Geological Survey reported a shallow depth of less than 10 kilometers. The tremor was felt intensely in Colombian cities such as Bucaramanga, Cúcuta, Bogotá, Medellín, the Coffee Region, and the Caribbean coast. The IDIGER (Colombian Institute for Disaster Risk Management) in Bogotá activated verification protocols and reported almost no risk of damage. Although the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center initially issued an alert for Venezuela and its islands, the National Tsunami Warning Center ruled out any danger to the east coast of the United States and Canada, clarifying that the risks were concentrated along coastlines near the epicenter.
