Bach/Busoni: Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme BWV 645 - Viktor Hartobanu

Hello friends! After five long years I'm finally uploading again on Youtube! In order to add something to the Christmas spirit I decided to record the wonderful "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme", which is part of the Bach chorale preludes which Busoni arranged for the piano. This work is part of a larger project I'm currently working on called "Et Ego in Arcadia - Germany meets Italy", in which I play Bach transcriptions of works by Vivaldi and Marcello, as well as Busoni transcriptions of works by Bach. I hope to continue uploading all these wonderful works very soon! Recorded in the gorgeous chapel of the Vorarlberger Landeskonservatorium Feldkirch, Austria, on my new Salvi Iris, named "Stella Dell'Est".
