Queensland Rail 1, 1988 Rosewood-Toowoomba & Brisbane (Digital edit 2025)
This is a digital and updated edit of a previously posted video originally shot in 1988, with additional material (and corrected xfer rate). Music: 1. Pink Floyd - Keep Talking, Ambient Cover Remix 2. Pink Floyd - Is There Anybody Out There? (Long Instrumental) It primarily covers the once busy Rosewood to Toowoomba areas of south east Queensland, Australia. A short sequence of what was Brisbane's Roma Street goods yard is also included along with shots of stored retired locos at Redbank. Queensland's first railway, known as 'The Mainline' began operating between Ipswich and Grandchester, west of Brisbane in 1865. This narrow gauge railway was extended to Brisbane and Toowoomba soon after.
