How To Calculate Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) (Central Line)
This video is designed to help nutrition students and dietetic interns learn how to calculate macronutrients in Parenteral Nutrition formulas for a central line. This video does not encompass all of the contraindications or complications that can arise with PN, it is simply to help students with the math portion of calculating a PN formula. This video is not intended to be used as medical advice. Do not administer parenteral nutrition without the guidance of a clinical Registered Dietitian that has been deemed competent to administer parenteral nutrition.
