#Waterfall #Mindo #Ecuador #Nature We went to Mindo, the bird capital of the world (birding is still on my to-do list!), to hike the Seven Waterfalls trail. Parking costs $1 and the entrance fee is $5 per person (includes the cable car ride). What a route! It's amazing, 11.2 kilometers in total to see them all, following the route shown in the video. DON'T FORGET your water shoes or sandals... they're very useful for exploring the surroundings; the lush nature and abundance of birds will transport you to the jungle. Add to that the constant sound of the water and the occasional dip or toe in the refreshing water. Try to go as early as possible. Google Maps doesn't find the route to this place, "Cable Car & Waterfalls." And so you don't get lost "like we did," I recommend searching for "SUYANA MINDO ECO PARK" and following that road straight until you reach "Tarabita Mindo a las Cascadas" (Mindo Cable Car to the Waterfalls), which is on the curve, and looking for the yellow house that appears in the video.
