Gender-Based Violence Scenarios - A Short Film for the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV

On the occasion of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, UNDP, in collaboration with the National Assembly of the Republic of Mauritius, organized a multimedia exhibition in Port Louis. Open to the public from 25 November to 10 December, the exhibition brought together high-level government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, parliamentarians from the Gender Caucus, youth representatives, and artists. Through powerful works of art, multimedia installations, and complementary side events, the exhibition created a space for dialogue and reflection on the pervasive issue of gender-based violence. This flatscreen version of the original 360 degree VR video produced by UNDP for the exhibition, allows the audience to have a glimpse of the forms of violence to which far too many people—particularly women—are exposed on a daily basis. #16daysofactivism #genderequality
