How To Calculate Density Altitude
http://m0a.com The FAA defines density altitude as "Pressure altitude corrected for non-standard temperature" What does that mean to us as pilots? I've always defined density altitude in plain english by saying "It's where the airplane feels like it's at." In this video I will show you three different ways to calculate density altitude using first the FAA knowledge test supplement image. Next I'll show you the formula I use. Lastly I'll show you how to calculate it on the manual E6B flight computer. Enjoy - Jason
