My Traumatic Birth Story | Emergency Delivery, NICU Stay & Postpartum Complications

Hey Richie, welcome or welcome back to another video! 🤍 Today I’m finally sharing my traumatic birth story, including my emergency delivery, my baby's NICU stay, and the postpartum complications that completely changed what I expected my birth experience to look like. I was honestly really reluctant to make this video because I hateee trauma dumping, and I was pretty upset that I didn’t get the labor experience I had hoped for. But I decided to share it for two reasons. First, to testify to the glory and faithfulness of Jesus, and second, to be more transparent with you guys, my community. It’s been a few months now, and I’ve had time to process everything, so I finally feel ready to talk about it. Before we get into it, please don’t let my story scare you. What happened to me is not the norm at all, and every birth experience is different. If you're pregnant, preparing for labor and delivery, healing from postpartum, or your baby has spent time in the NICU, I hope this video reminds you that you're not alone.
