Heroes in History: Gryphon
Well, in keeping with this theme of talking about Gryphon lately, let's wrap this up with one more video on the man: The long awaited Heroes in History on Gryphon. Now it's obvious to anyone that's watched my channel that I think Gryphon is based on the Varangian...whether it was intentional or not, and I'm sure I'll get a few commenters letting me know that's not true and I'm just seeing things that aren't there. You're free to think that...so what's your criticism? It is my goal with this series to find connections and possible theories to suggest inspirations from history that form the For Honor heroes. If Gryphon is truly not based on anyone, so be it. But I'm still going to seek those connections and draw a conclusion. In this case, I believe Gryphon is most likely based on the Varangian Guard. This was a fun video to make. Took me some time to think on it, but I think it all came out well, and I'm glad it's behind me. Now I gotta think on who to focus on for the next HoH. Please subscribe if you haven't already, like if you enjoyed the video, and leave a comment! I'd love to hear from you. Thank you, and I'll see you in the next one!
