They're also called floating benches. If you decide to make them, choose the widest possible width for comfortable lying and steaming. I made them 90 cm wide, which is the maximum for my steam room. It's very convenient to arrange the bench boards crosswise rather than lengthwise. Also, don't attach the bench boards. This way, you can easily remove them, wipe them down, and sand them.
