Wintering cattle at our small block
We have a small number of cattle that we will winter at our small block 35 minutes south of us. This year with the cattle / beef prices the margin on these boys should be quite good and every kilogram of weight gain is worth more. Im trying to feed them well so that at the end of the winter we have some big animals. The idea this year was to have less animals and feed them better and thats also why we have gone with annual grass instead of winter crops on most of the area.
