Bus Life - Fossil Free? TEST: New Diesel Fuels: GTL & HVO - serious alternatives??

Buslife: In my RV converted bus I tested 2 alternative diesel fuels: GTL & Blue Diesel (HVO). Because my RV is old (’87) and smokes and smells. A lot! Do these 2 fuels work? So I filled up her tank with both products (not at the same time ;-) ) Pro’s & cons based on 3 questions in this experiment: Does this stuff make my old diesel quit smoking? Is it better for the environment? Is it suitable for an old diesel engine? And the overall question: Would I recommend it? Extra: what about the soot test / emmission test, does it help to pass it?
