Today, Amplifica welcomes guitarists of different styles and generations to celebrate and relive the legacy of Luiz Carlini, who passed away on May 7th. A longtime collaborator of Rita Lee, he died three years after her, almost on the same date; she passed away on May 8th. Carlini left his mark on more than 400 albums and classics such as "Agora Só Falta Você" and "Ovelha Negra," among many others. He is considered one of Brazil's great guitar heroes, having dedicated himself to the instrument when the electric guitar was still a novelty in the country.
